With discharge aids and bulk material handling systems made of pure polyethylene (SIPERM® HP), the low electrical conductivity of the porous material can lead to electrostatic charging and powder particles adhering to the surface of certain bulk materials(powder fluidization!).

Our SIPERM® HP antistatic material is suitable for applications of this type. This black, antistatic material has the positive properties of the white SIPERM® HP; the pore distribution is homogeneous, the surface is extremely smooth, it is very easy to weld and it has a food safety declaration. In contrast to our white SIPERM® HP Fl material, which has a surface resistance of <1012 Ohm, the surface resistance of the new SIPERM® HP antistatic is below 106 Ohm and it can therefore be described as electrically conductive.
