With the aid of fluidized bed technology, fine-grained bulk materials with an average grain diameter of 10 – 200 µm can not only be fluidized by blowing in air, i.e. put into a liquid-like state, but – either accompanying fluidization or as an exclusive application – uniform heating, cooling or drying of the bulk material can be achieved by introducing and homogeneously distributing an aeration gas and adjusting the temperature accordingly.

Depending on the process requirements, all SIPERM® materials are suitable for this surface filtration application.
