Fluidized bed conveyance

Fine-grained bulk materials can achieve a fluid-like state and they can flow in a few degrees inclined fluidized bed channel when they are perfused with gas. This so-called fluidized bed conveyance makes it possible to transport large quantities of bulk material over longer distances. Fluidized bed conveyance is an economic and gentle method for bulk material transport. Fluidized bed channels require only moderate constructive measures, work without any rotating parts, are easy to maintain and automatable. During the transport in the fluidized bed channel the bulk materials can be cooled, heated, dried, classified, eluted and dosed. The feeding and the removal of the bulk material can easily be done at any place of the feed channel.
